Juliane is an ambitious but unemployed young writer. After breaking up with her lover she works at a dentist friend to make ends meet.
One day she falls in love with one of the patients & promptly writes a screenplay about the encounter. When the script is picked up for production, things become fairly complicated.

Part of the "Hope as Principle" series, a tribute to Helmut Kaeutner, one of the most acclaimed German directors of his time.
