The Aesthetic Code: Unraveling the Secrets of Art April 10, 2011

This exhibit is designed to introduce viewers to the basic math and design principles artists incorporate in their work, such as line, space, shape and value, or more complicated ideas like time, movement and perspective. By familiarizing themselves with these concepts, viewers can perhaps come to recognize them in other works of art and garner a deeper appreciation of what they're seeing.
