A night of classic reggae at The Wardrobe in Leeds featuring a very special concert by Jamaican roots reggae legends The Abyssinians performing all their much-loved hits.
Dedicated Rastafarians, The Abyssinians formed in 1968 and feature the close harmony singing of Bernard Collins, Donald Manning and David Morrison in a band that produced the now legendary Satta Massagana - described as "Reggae's national anthem', one of its greatest hits and now considered one of the catalysts for early dancehall.
Expect this and their other great hits including African Race, Tenayistillin, Y Mas Gan and many more as this legendary and intensely loved band raise The Wardrobe's roof with their gorgeous, good-vibe music.
