Rarely does a parenting book generate so much buzz that even the pre-publication reviews of it spin out into blog posts and dinner-party discussions. But that’s exactly what happened with "Nurtureshock: New Thinking about Children"' by Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman. Bronson says it’s not a parenting book or an advice book so much as it is a book about ideas, backed by "tons of science." Whatever it's been since its 2009 release, it has turned much of the conventional wisdom about parenting on its head. And now, the paperback version of "Nurtureshock," with plenty of new findings and materials, is hitting the bookstores, and Po Bronson will be here to discuss it, in conversation with journalist Jane Ganahl.

His book of social documentary, "What Should I Do With My Life?," was a #1 New York Times bestseller and remained in the Top 10 for nine months. His first novel, "Bombardiers," was a #1 bestseller in the United Kingdom. His books have been translated into 19 languages.
