This annual celebration of women comedians showcases a diverse line-up of nationally and locally known funny females -- African American, Latina, Jewish, lesbian, straight, short, tall, a drag queen... Take a mom for belated Mother’s Day! Funny Girlz was born in 1999 when comic/comedy producer, Lisa Geduldig, began taking inventory of stage time given to women at mainstream comedy clubs.
