The 3rd Annual RED LIGHT DISTRICT COSTUME BALL May 16, 2009

THE PARTY:


The infamous costume party is back for its annual tongue-in-cheek, fun and mayhem and taking over the entire Wrigley Mansion, both levels! It’s a Saints & Sinners, Drag Queen, Pimp ‘n Ho and Fetish Party all in one! This year The Red Light District Costume Ball promises to be bigger and better than ever with an expected number of 1,500 guests in wild, crazy costumes and with all the surrounding entertaining amenities, this is sure to be one of the most tantalizing and memorable events of the year!


The Wrigley Mansion will be serving up very reasonably priced cocktails at all 4 full bars throughout the residence while guests who are anxious to kick up their heels enjoy the talented 4-piece party band, NINEBALL, up on stage in the West Veranda Ballroom. The band will be in costume while performing 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and current upbeat dance tunes beside a large dance floor. The party will be host to many wonderful local vendors sprinkled throughout the Mansion for your browsing and shopping pleasure. You’ll find anything from lotions and potions to lingerie and Jewelry. Cheetahs Gentlemen’s Club will be bringing a miniature version of their establishment into the party complete with gorgeous dancers on stripper poles.


For those wanting to really enjoy their sexy attire to its fullest, lessons on exotic pole dancing will be artfully instructed during the event by professional dancer, fitness trainer and magician, Nyla Farraz of PussyCats Pole Dance Company. At midnight, the best of the best will be acknowledged up on stage for cash prizes during the Costume Contest which will be presented by sexy celebrity Emcees, actresses, Amber M and Amber B of the Bad Girls Club, a popular television reality show on the Oxygen Channel. The categories are Best Female, Best Male and Best Drag Queen.


Charity Benefits Unlimited will be presenting and managing a fabulous silent auction in the beautiful Living Room of the Mansion. The auction will be loaded with rare and exceptional celebrity and sports memorabilia and much more from 8 to 11pm. Proceeds will benefit local charity organizations that provide shelter to victims of domestic violence. The volunteers from the charity organizations will be selling raffle tickets for some great prizes as well as speaking with guests about what their organization does for the needy families of our community.



THE ATTIRE:


This party’s theme is an easy one for costumes. Although there are many places to get sexy attire, we will accept anything you show up in that is flashy, colorful, daring, bold, flamboyant, funny, exotic, wild, and over-the-top and of course, the more innovative, the better chance you have to win cash and prizes in the costume contest.
