It’s so much fun that it ought to be illegal, in Patrick Barlow’s adaptation of the classic Hitchcock film, The 39 Steps. This inventive and comic stage adaptation utilizes just four actors to portray over a hundred characters. It was a major hit in London (2007 Olivier Award for best new comedy) and then in New York (2 Tonys and 2 Drama Desk awards).
