Practical Strategies, Tools and Ideas for Managing Relationships, Improving Service Delivery and Enhancing Value for Money in Performance Based Contracts
12 & 13 June 2012, Rydges Hotel - Auckland
Performance-based contracts are a popular choice for many organisations across the Public and Private Sector due to being more outcome-driven than other contract models. With a greater potential to enhance asset capability and being very price-competitive at the same time, they offer strategic management of the asset life-cycle over a specified period of time. However, with services being contracted to an outsourced third party, there are often issues in the negotiation, implementation and management of the contracts. In addition, there should be appropriate controls in place to ensure accountability for the reliability of performance as well as meeting cost objectives.
The Performance Based Maintenance Contracting Conference is aimed at equipping delegates with ideas and best practice models on the management of performance-based contracts, as well as key advice on enhancing relationships with outsourced contractors and improving service delivery. Through practical case studies and presentations from organisations across a wide range of industry sectors and from the perspective of both the client and contractor, participants will obtain ways of overcoming challenges in selecting the best partner and establishing the right measures and incentives for best performance; building solid alliances with outsourced partners; innovations in the management of external partners; and more.
