The 21st Annual Sun East/HB Golf Classic September 10, 2012

Sun East Federal Credit Union will once again team up with Henry Barusevicius and H.B. Electric Service, Inc. to serve as the title sponsor of the 21st Annual Sun East/H.B. Golf Classic, The event is held annually for the benefit of Elwyn.

Over the past 21 years, the H.B. Golf Classic has raised thousands of dollars in support of Elwyn and its mission of providing services to children and adults with special needs.

This year’s event will move south of the Pennsylvania border and take place at White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park. Opened in 2005, White Clay Creek is a Par 72, 18-hole championship course, designed by Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest. The complete course is 7,007 yards with water coming into play on 18 holes.

The event will kick off with a buffet luncheon at 11:30 a.m. The round of golf begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A BBQ reception and awards ceremony will be held for participants starting at 5:30 p.m. Prizes will be given out to winners in several categories, including top three foursome scores, closest to pin, longest drive, straightest drive and a par three golden circle challenge.
