The 2009 Angel Awards May 29, 2009

The Angel Awards charity gala will benefit Be An Angel Fund, a Houston charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of children with multiple disabilities and/or profound deafness. The first annual Angel Awards is honoring four deserving Houstonians who have dedicated themselves to serving children in need:

• Mrs. Laura Ward, director of Houston Children’s Charity
• Mr. Mark A. Wallace, president and CEO of Texas Children’s Hospital
• Dr. Richard Wainerdi, president, CEO and COO of Texas Medical Center
• Senator Dan Patrick, Texas State Senate, District 7

Additionally, this special event will include dining among gourmet food stations, dancing to hits from the Beatles performed by The Fab Five, and bidding on wonderful silent auction items.
