Textile Constructions April 5, 2011

Gallery Up presents Textile Constructions, an exhibition highlighting new work by Terry Jarrard-Dimond. The work will be on view from April 6 through April 29 with an artist’s reception from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday April 7, 2011, free and open to the public.

Terry Jarrard-Dimond began making her textile constructions after becoming interested in quilt making techniques 9 years ago while working as a designer with a textile company. Her interest in the relationship between simplicity and complexity is very prevalent in her work.
