Texas Public Radio hosts a workshop on the CPS Energy Savers Program on August 28. This energy efficiency initiative offers rebates and cash incentives to help homeowners and business reduce their energy consumption.
The workshop will explain the main components of the CPS Energy Savers program, which includes home assessments and audits, rebates and tax credits, financing options and customer support services provided by CPS Energy. Facilitators will guide attendees through the typical process from CPS Energy Savers program participants, from evaluation to installation to financing. The session will also detail the range of benefits to home retrofits and upgrades, including reductions in energy consumption, utility bills, and greenhouse gas emissions.
Details about the CPS Energy Savers program are available at cpsenergysavers.com. There, homeowners can take a free do-it-yourself energy survey to identify opportunities for cost-cutting improvements and to receive a $5 credit on their CPS Energy bill.
