Texas Instruments Science & Technology Quiz 2010 December 4, 2010

The regional round of the Texas Instruments Science & Technology Quiz will be held in Bangalore on December 5, 2010 at the city’s St. John's Auditorium, Koramangala, which will be followed by the national finals on the same day. Winning teams from the regional rounds held in Chennai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore will vie for the national prizes. Schools can register their teams and participate in the quiz by logging onto http://www.tiif.org or by writing in to tistquiz-query@list.ti.com. There is no entry fee for participation.

The quiz is open to students from 8th to 10th standard and is being organized in five cities this year – Bangalore, Pune, New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. The Texas Instruments Science and Technology Quiz is an extension of TI India’s commitment to identify and promote the best scientific talent in the country while honoring India’s long-standing reputation as the birthplace of bright young minds. The quiz follows a unique format that seeks to effectively address and bring out the scientific quotient of the budding young minds.
