Texas Gold Star Opry features "old time country, Gospel, and Rock'n' Roll. It is definitely a "Branson-Style variety Show" with the Louisiana Hayride band. Also a talent contest is featured each month and each monthy winner becomes eligible to win $500.00 at the December 5th grand finale show. Tell all your friends and we'll see you there at the Lufkin Civic Center, April 11th at 7PM. Auditions for the contest will be held at 1PM April 11th at the Civic Center. This is a very family orientated show. I have enjoyed it tremendously. I have been to every one they have had. It just keeps getting better each month. Keep up the good work. I think it is wonderful someone has brought a show like this to Lufkin, Texas.

I HAVE BEEN TO THE SHOW ALL YEAR LONG..NOW I LIVE 225 MILES FROM LUFKIN AND IT IS WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME TO MISS THE SHOW........LOVE IT VERY MUCH....KEEP IT GOING IN 2010 ERNEST AND GUANDA ISTRE---CROWLEY ,LOUISIANS
