Born in Houston, Texas, singer/bass player Armando Compean and The Texas Brown Band have a long list of songs from big-city blues and R&B to a mixture of texas shuffle and funky grooves.
The group's sound covers 25 years of diverse musical experience and performances throughout the U.S. and Europe. The members of The Texas Brown Band have performed and recorded with such artists as Robert Cray, Stevie Wonder, Albert Collins, Buddy Rich, Natalie Cole, Lyle Lovett, Bobby Womack, The Tonight Show Band, T-Bone Burnett, Johnny and Edgar Winter, to name a few.
