Her one-of-a-kind mix of folk, pop, country and jazz-inflected roots rock has long been lauded by publications ranging from Mojo to Texas Monthly to Billboard and London's The Guardian. Her ninth and latest album, The Spiritual Kind, was released in August. She has been working with famed producer and multi-instrumentalist Lloyd Maines (Terry Allen, Dixie Chicks) since 1998, when the two first teamed up to record her second album, Wilory Farm.
