Mardi Gras may have passed, but don't tell that to Cajun and Zydeco jazz singer/songwriter Terrance Simien. Simien's Louisiana-inspired riffs appeared in Disney's recent animated hit "The Princess and The Frog." As the first person to win a Grammy Award in the Cajun and Zydeco category, Simien serves as one of the nation's ambassadors for Creole music. He has been compared to artists such as Aaron Neville and Sam Cooke and has worked with music legends such as Paul Simon. Simien's high-energy performance will bring the spirit of New Orleans to Bergen. The performance is part of Bergen's "This & That from Here & There" Performing Arts Series.
