Slow Food Vancouver celebrates local food—and the people who produce it —with Terra Madre Day, December 10, at the Italian Cultural Centre, 3075 Slocan Street (at Grandview Highway between Renfrew and Nanaimo), 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Meet the people who grow your veggies, find out about Community Supported Agriculture, and enjoy samples dished up by local chefs using home grown ingredients.
