How to set up a termbase from Excel

In the second instalment from our two part Terminology webinar series we focus our attention on the steps required to set up a MultiTerm database from terminological data in Excel.

Presented by Diana Brändle, this webinar includes a live demonstration that covers:

• Check Excel file (data categories, consistent field contents, just ONE worksheet in Excel, etc.)
• MultiTerm Convert: Select field types (text field, attribute field, etc.); assign data categories to index level, language level, term level, etc.;
• Conversion: Automatic creation of files with MultiTerm term base definition and terminological data in MultiTerm format
• Set up new term base in MultiTerm using the term base definition created during the conversion process
• Import terminological data created during the conversion process
• And your MultiTerm database is ready!
