Terence Blanchard will play two sets, 8:30 & 10:15 p.m., May 27-30.
GRAMMY® award winning trumpeter and composer Terence Blanchard is known not only for his work on stage, but on the big screen as well. He has written original scores for numerous films including Jungle Fever, Malcolm X and Clockers. Blanchard’s recent album, A Tale of God's Will (A Requiem for Katrina), was the soundtrack for Spike Lee’s documentary When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts. The album was awarded a GRAMMY® for “Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album” in 2007.
Tickets purchased for Mr. Blanchard's orginally scheduled dates in February of 2009 can be used for the May performances on their corresponding evning. Tickets purchased for the original dates may also be returned to their point-of-purchase for a full refund.
