Developed collaboratively by Mobile Media Lab, York University, the Mobile Experience Lab, Ontario College of Art and Design University in partnership with Addi.TV and the Media Lab at the Canadian Film Centre, Tentacles is a unique gaming application that turns a mobile device into a controller linked to virtual creatures projected onto giant screens. Tentacles won first prize in Toronto’s Nuit Blanche festival in 2009 and is part of MoMA’s exhibit Talk to Me: Design and the Communication between People and Objects.
