Tender Trap
Welcome return to HDIF Presents for the legendary indiepop outfit, fronted by Amelia Fletcher of Talulah Gosh/Heavenly fame. The now five strong Tender Trap - Rob Pursey and DJ Downfall being joined by Katrina Dixon on stand up drums and Elizabeth Darling (of Allo Darlin') on guitar - sound brimful with energy, ideas and that unquenchable pop spirit. And they're playing for free! Incredible really...

MJ Hibbett And The Validators
By rights, "The Office" should have been soundtracked by the heartwarming indie pop of MJ Hibbett And The Validators rather than Rod warbling through "Handbags And Gladrags". Mark Hibbett shares Ricky Gervais's ability to find humanity and hilarity in the most unlikely of places - IT helpdesks, the boss at work who used to be in an indie band, and Leicester. He also teaches The Lesson Of The Smiths: "Just because a bunch of wankers like it, doesn't mean that it's shit." Wise words.

Leaving Mornington Crescent
Formed in 2009, Leaving Mornington Crescent are Stefan and Elizabeth, from Malmo in Sweden, who play dreamy indie pop in the vein of Heavenly and Even As We Speak. You can imagine how they reacted when we asked if they wanted to support Tender Trap.

Hissing At Swans
Hissing at Swans call themselves "a ramshakle ukelele and 80's keyboard demo collective from Essex/East London" - which means they're a female duo in thrall to Magnetic Fields and Moldy Peaches who approach gigs as if they're art installations. Expect homemade films and lots of off-kilter charm.
