tenantspin goes “ON TOUR” bringing its special blend of community generated TV to the Tate. 

tenantspin ON TOUR is a working TV studio in the gallery; it is both an exhibit, and a collaborative performance; created in part by the audience within the gallery and around the world.



tenantspin ON TOUR will combine pre-programmed events with opportunities for visitors to produce and direct their own content. It’s up to you how you participate:
See the action; from TV chat show space, to production office; come and watch us at work at Tate Liverpool.

tenantspin ON TOUR exists at Tate Liverpool and online. It is a collaboration between tenantspin and artist technologists Kisky Netmedia who's role is to use online platforms to push boundaries of online creative participation.

The project references traditional models of broadcast TV, of tenantspin itself as an internet TV channel and intertwines these with ultra new online video platforms.

tenantspin is managed by FACT, citywide residents and Arena Housing, a North West housing association. tenantspin, FACT & Arena Housing’s long term pioneering community project will be hosting a lively and ambitious programme of events throughout the course of Tate's 5th Floor Exhibition in a purpose built, community drive, transparent and disposbale TV Studio!
