TEDxBerkeley: 'Catalyzing Change' April 20, 2013

The fourth annual TEDx Berkeley Event is a gathering of a dozen thought provoking and renowned speakers, set to tackle this year's theme: Catalyzing Change.

Learning and sharing ideas in a way that provokes change and making the world a better place is what TED events are about. This year's group of TEDxBerkeley speakers invoke passion and change, challenging old belief systems and legislation and inspiring unconventional projects and ideas across disciplines.

Given that Berkeley is an epicenter of innovation, inspiration and talent, it's the perfect location for this important global conversation.

ￏ Alexei Filippenko, UC Berkeley Professor of Astronomy, part of a team who won the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics
ￏ Eden Full, Thiel Fellow, founder/CEO Roseicollis Technologies
ￏ Dan Millman, best-selling author of 16 books which have been translated into 29 languages. His most popular book, Way of the Peaceful Warrior, was adapted to film in 2006.
ￏ Robert Neuwirth, author of two books on alternative social and economic structures: "Stealth of Nations" and "Shadow Cities"
ￏ Kim Polese, a leading Silicon Valley entrepreneur and technology executive. Chairman of ClearStreet Inc, formerly Marimba CEO
