TEDx Manhattan: Changing the Way We Eat January 21, 2012

Slow Food RVA and The Frontier Project are partnering with TED to present a live simulcast of TEDx Manhattan: Changing the Way We Eat, on Saturday January 21 from 10:30-5 pm at Gallery 5. TEDx Manhattan will be hosted by Laurie David, environmental activist and co-producer of An Inconvenient Truth. Speakers for the day’s three sessions - ISSUES, IMPACT, and INNOVATION, will cover a broad range of topics including factory farming, antibiotics, labeling, water use, immigrant labor, restaurants, food pantries/distribution models, hydroponics, health & diet, etc.
