Cristian Mallory started out her day on the 4th of July by visiting the residents of the Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Keene, Tx. along with her Todya's Girl Pageant sisters..Crista Mallory, Baibrie, Aisling, and Rhianneth Summerlin. Participated in watching the parade with the residents and handed out cards to the Veterans. After the parade..the Today's Girls went to the 4th of July program honoring the Veterans. The Marines did the posting of the colors. What an exciting event to end our day..Our American Veterans were honored during a special Family on The Fourth Celebration..all Veterans were asked to come forth and stand on the track of the Comanche High School Football field in Comanche, Tx.. The Comanche Queen and her court passed out cards to the Veterans. They were honored by the raising of the American Flag. Cristian Mallory performed the National Anthem. The Boy Scouts Troop 67 said the Pledge of Allegiance and the raising of the American Flag. Then the Veterans were honored by the most spectacular Fieworks Show we have ever witnessed to American Patriotic songs..what a show! Deryl Dodd & The Homesick Cowboys performed for the auddience. Liberty Leonard, hometown Comanche girl opened the show for hometown country singer Deryl Dodd. We were honored to have spent the day Celebrating the Birthday of America by honoring our American Soliders..past, present, and those who will serve our country in the future. To all those who have served and are serving and those who are planning on serving our country..THANK YOU!
