Enter a dystopian vision of the future in this original short work by acclaimed playwright and Teatro Luna co-founder Tanya Saracho, first staged as part of the 2007 Chicago Humanities Festival. The year is 2112. Deep underground, in the caves of a new territory called Amexica, Spanglish is the national tongue. Three teenagers, Lani, Nestor, and Dana, emerge from the “Sectors” where they
are forced to live and make their way toward the Surface: a place where they discover truths that will change their lives forever.

Entra a una visión distopíca del futuro en esta obra original hecha por la aclamadora escritora y co-fundadora del Teatro Luna, Tanya Saracho, que se presento por primera vez en el Festival de Humanidades de Chicago 2007. En el año el 2112 y bajo tierra en las cuevas del nuevo territorio llamado Amexica, el espanglish es el nuevo idioma. Tres jóvenes, Lani, Nestor, y Dana se meten a
sectores donde son forzadas a vivir y crear su camino hacia la superficie: un lugar extraño con cosas maravillosas que crecen de la tierra. Es un paisaje extraño donde Lani y Nestor se sienten libres de decir sus secretos y descubrir finalmente la verdad sobre su pasado.
