Teaching Taster Course: Black and Minority Ethnic Groups October 18, 2009

Teaching Taster courses are aimed at individuals close to making a decision to apply for initial teacher training.

The 3 day programme is designed to enable you to reach a well informed decision about whether teaching is, or is not, a career you wish to pursue. The courses will include the chance to spend a day in school observing teachers in practice.

Those from a black and minority ethnic background are currently under represented in the teaching profession. A teaching taster course for black and minority ethnic groups is taking place at the Ormskirk Campus from 19th-21st October 2009.
