This four quarter unit course focuses on the theory and application of evidence-based instructional strategies, curricular modifications, and practices for students with autism spectrum disorders. Assessment, implications for program decisions, and expanded technological supports are covered. Course completion requires five hours of fieldwork. Upon successful completion of the course, students can petition to transfer credit to the credential or MA programs for Education with their transcript showing four quarter units and a letter grade.
