Tea in the Garden May 28, 2009

Learn about tea traditions and experience an early 19th century tea in Davenport House's beautiful courtyard garden. Patrons will be oriented to the history of tea and tea traditions relating to early 19th century consumers. They will tour areas of the home where tea service took place and will participate in a simulated afternoon tea given with costumed interpreters in the garden.
