Heard-Craig Executive Director, Barbara Johnson, will present a program on the art and artists comprising the Heard-Craig's art collection. The program will profile the quirks, personalities and motivations of the artsits. Highlights include stories about the artist who joined the Texas Rangers in order to experience the true west and the artist who became close friends with renowned conductor, Arturo Toscanini. Follwing the program, we will provide afternoon tea specialties featuring delicious desserts and other sumptuous delights. Guests are encouraged to linger over tea and enjoy conversation with friends. A tour of the historic Heard-Craig House will complete the afternoon. The Heard-Craig House is located at 205 West Hunt Street in McKinney’s historic district. The cost is $20 for Heard-Craig League members and $25 for non-members. Reservations are required.
