Tasti D-Lite Hosts Grand Opening Celebration in Darien June 18, 2010

Tasti D-Lite, the great-tasting, lower-calorie frozen dessert chain with a cult following among health-conscious consumers as well as celebrities, is celebrating the grand opening of its Darien location June 18-20, 2010.
The following events are scheduled to take place over the weekend.

• Free Tasti D-Lite small cup or cone on all three days from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• Free Height’s Pizza from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
• Free “blue wave” sprinkle topping with all cup/cone purchases all three days.
• Saturday festivities include a face painter, balloon artist and bounce house from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Free Tasti D-Lite tattoos will be handed out all weekend.
• Attendees can register to win several prizes: a grand prize of a “Year of Free Tasti,” plus a free Cake & Pie Office Party for 20, a free Tasti Birthday Party for 15 kids.
• Tasti door prizes – including Tasti D-Lite pints, cakes and TreatCards – will be given out throughout the weekend.
• Official ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday (6/19/10).
• Ten percent of the proceeds from the grand opening weekend will be donated to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.
