Tasti D-Lite Grand Opening Celebration January 20, 2012

Tasti D-Lite, the great-tasting, lower-calorie frozen dessert chain with a cult following among health-conscious consumers as well as celebrities, is celebrating the grand opening of its Tustin, Calif., location Jan. 20-22. Center hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The following events are scheduled to take place over the weekend:

• Free Tasti D-Lite small cup or cone on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m.
• The Tustin High School dance team will perform at 1 p.m. Saturday.
• Attendees can register to win several prizes including a kid’s birthday party for 10, a free office party for 12, and a grand prize of a “Year of Free Tasti.”
• Tasti door prizes – including Tasti D-Lite pints, quarts, TreatCards, dessert bowls and a glass cake stand with a Tasti D-Lite cake – will be given out throughout the weekend.
• A ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday.
• A portion of the proceeds from the grand opening weekend will be donated to the Tustin Public Schools Foundation.
