Tasti D-Lite Grand Opening September 22, 2011

Tasti D-Lite, the great-tasting, lower-calorie frozen dessert chain with a cult following among health-conscious consumers as well as celebrities, is celebrating the grand opening of its Columbia, Mo. location Sept. 23-25. The following events are scheduled to take place over the weekend:

• Free Tasti D-Lite small cup or cone on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Sunday all day with a book donation.
• Attendees can register to win several prizes including a grand prize of a “Year of Free Tasti,” a free office party for 20, a kid’s birthday party for 10 and prizes provided by Wilsons Total Fitness, FIT Females in Training Gym, Tan Rio, Princess Nails, Missouri Aquatic Center, Bella Salon, Sport Clips and Concierge Services.
• Tasti door prizes – including Tasti D-Lite pints, quarts, pies, TreatCards and more – will be given out throughout the weekend.
• Ceremonial ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
• A portion of the proceeds from the grand opening weekend will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

Center hours are Friday & Saturday: 11 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.; Sunday: 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.
