Vinyasa is a style of yoga that links yoga postures and the breath together in a continuous flow. Vinyasa is literally translated "to place in a special way", and the strength and uniqueness of a Vinyasa class is in its variation and diversity. Sun Salutations is one example of Vinyasa Yoga and is often practiced several times throughout a Vinyasa class.
