Join Limmud NY and our partners for a fun-filled evening of Havdalah (starting 30 minutes after Shabbat ends), music/singing, learning, dessert, wine tasting and comedy.
Limmud (the Hebrew word for "learning") began in the UK and has grown to 30+ communities and over 15,000 annual participants in such diverse places as Australia, France, Turkey, South Africa and L.A. At last year's Limmud NY conference (held annually on MLK weekend in the Catskills) , 900+ Jews of different ages, backgrounds, affiliations (and lack of affiliation) and lifestyles, came together for 350+ sessions of learning, music, performance, ritual and more.
"Taste of Limmud NY in Westchester" is an opportunity to experience this amazing event right here in your own back yard.
Session topics include: Maya Shetreat-Klein We Are What We Eat: Judaism, Food, Health and Ethics.
