Taste of Highland Park August 24, 2012

Kicking off the festival weekend is the 6th Annual Taste of Highland Park, which opens Friday and runs in conjunction with the festival throughout the weekend. The Taste features food and libations from many of Highland Park's most notable restaurants. In addition to the tasty fare, festival-goers will enjoy a variety of live musical performances from acclaimed bands and performers throughout the weekend, including:

-Bruce In The USA, known as the most powerful and intense Springsteen tribute around
-Afrodisiacs, known as the leading 70's disco tribute band in the Chicagoland area
-Radio Disney streams LIVE from the festival
-The cast from MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the new smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins
-Jeanie B! and the Jelly Beans, one of the hottest acts on the kids’ music circuit today, promises tons of family fun
