On Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM follow the incredible aromas as you visit over 60 restaurants throughout The Gaslamp Quarter, Financial District, East Village and Little Italy. This vivid culinary display will feature a combination of your favorite eateries; classic bistros, tasty take-outs and showcase the newest dining hot spots. This evening promises to be nothing more than scrumptious as you enjoy an array of textures such as perfecto pastas, trendy Asian-Fusion, All-American favorites, specialties from around the world, decadent desserts and delightful drinks. This self-guided walking tour is the perfect opportunity to encounter that latest dining getaway that everyone is raving about! Tickets to everyone’s favorite taste, the Taste of Downtown are only $30.00 in advance and $35.00 on the day of the event and proceeds will benefit the Downtown San Diego Partnership who continues to promote and enhance our unique community through programs such as: the Downtown Clean and Safe Program, the extensive Downtown Walking Map, and other programs to help promote our urban Downtown District. This year’s event will once again offer a complimentary shuttle service, which will take you to and from each neighborhood.
