Target Family Days - Latin Theme August 8, 2010

Target Family Days will transform Theatre Way, near the corner of Broadway and Middlefield Road, into a walkable assortment of themed family entertainment this summer. Featuring Cultural Food, themed face painting, hands-on Art Projects, cooking demonstrations, bounce houses and more, there will be something for everyone on three Sundays from July through September. Plus, the street will be closed to through traffic, making a stroll along beautiful Theatre Way a fun and relaxing family experience.

Andy Z
Andy Z delights kids and kids-at-heart with his musical adventures. He will have your children smiling, singing and dancing along as he takes them on an imaginary tour of the Andyland Islands. His story adventure performances feature a full host of Andyland characters, traditional and contemporary music plus original songs. Children are drawn in by his use of character voices, puppets and music that runs the gamut from educational to just plain silly; dance songs to lullabies, sing-a-longs to finger plays to full body movement. Genres include rock, British pop, jazz, folk, country, hip-hop, blues, Irish and classic traditional kids’ tunes.

Benny & Bebe's European Magic Circus
Magic Circus offers a variety of shows and programs for children, family and adult audiences. Heather Rogers Magician
Heather Rogers entertains, dazzles, and motivates the audience with high humor, powerful insight and heart-stopping magic. An award winning magician and motivator, she has presented magical programs at over 3,500 public and private events ranging in all sizes and venues, including the Wonder Dome and House of Mirth in Las Vegas. As a trained actor and solo performing artist, Heather has also written and produced 7 one-woman shows that ran in many theaters in San Francisco including Venue 9’s Women’s Work Theatre Festival, The Shelton Theatre, The Marsh Theatre, and many others

Along with the Target Family Days, other exciting FREE events include: Dancing on the Square on Tuesdays, Movies on the Square on Thursdays, Music on the Square on Fridays, and Jazz on Main on Mondays. Other ongoing events in the coming months include seven special outdoor exhibits featuring Art on the Square, Monday and Wednesday afternoon performances with Lunchtime on the Square, as well as weekend Classical concerts and Cultural Events.
