Children of all ages and their families will gather at Columbia University for the New York Times Great Children’s Read presented by Target. The event, which is free to the public, will feature book readings and signings, live entertainment and musical performances – all to help foster children’s love for reading as a fun and recreational activity.
Celebrity guests will include:

• Laurence Yep (author of American Girl – Mia)
• Jane O’Connor (author of Fancy Nancy Series)
• John Bemelmans Marciano (author of Madeline and the Cats of Rome)
• Musical highlights will include Lisa Loeb, They Might Be Giants, Playhouse Disney’s “Choo-Choo Soul” and Yo Gabba Gabba!.
