Tapia Park to Mesa Peak December 5, 2010

On the first three Saturdays and Sundays in November and the first weekend in December, the Sierra Club's Angeles Chapter will lead a hike on a portion of the 70-mile Santa Monica Mountains Backbone Trail. Moderate 7-mile roundtrip, 1800' gain hike to Mesa Peak (1844') for spectacular ocean views. Meet on shoulder of Piuma Road at intersection with Malibu Canyon Road. Bring water and lunch.
