Maestro James Conlon conducts the Company premiere of Wagner’s masterpiece, starring an internationally acclaimed cast that includes Peter Seiffert, Petra-Maria Schnitzer, Lioba Braun, Franz-Josef Selig, and Martin Gantner. Turning away from empty pleasures of the flesh, a medieval minstrel yearns for a more meaningful life.
