Rich and erotic, the Tango sizzles!

Performers include sensual Argentinean singer Roxana Fontán, Canadian virtuoso pianist Serouj Kradjian, flamboyan violinist Lara St. John, bassist David Young, and bandoneón player Hector Del Curto (Argentina).

Breathing new life into an old form, the program features works by Astor Piazolla, Carlos Gardel, Stravinsky, Osvaldo Golijov, and beloved tango favourites such as MALENA, CHE BANDONEON, EL CHOCLO. A special treat will be three newly commissioned tangos by Canadian composers Serouj Kradjian, James Rolfe and Ana Sokolovic.
