Tamera Teets: Natural Textures April 20, 2011

'Natural Textures' features paintings inspired by textures found in nature and wildlife. Each piece begins with a photograph Teets takes during her travels, from which she makes a reference drawing. She then creates texture by etching the design in paste, upon which she layers acrylic paint.
