Tamale Cooking! August 13, 2009

Learn the intricacies of making tamales! UNM Continuing Education is offering a Tamale Cooking class on Friday, August 14, from 8am-7pm. For $130 you will cook three different types of tamales to highlight the different techniques helpful in tamale making. Make your own tamales and then get some in depth information from the chef. Enjoy the tasty fruits of your labor at the end of class. You will master and enjoy Red Chile and Pork Tamales, Southern Mexican Chicken Tamales in Banana Leaf and Sweet Anise Seed Tamales.
