Saïd Sayrafiezadeh is a writer and dramatist, whose writing has appeared in Granta, the Paris Review, and numerous anthologies. He was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1968 to an Iranian father and a Jewish-American mother, both of whom were members of the Socialist Workers Party.
