Talk of the Stacks presents The Spies of Warsaw: Alan Furst June 25, 2009

Meet Furst, widely recognized as the master of the historical spy novel and lauded by The New York Times as "America's preeminent spy novelist." Now translated into seventeen languages, he is the bestselling author of Night Soldiers, Dark Star, Kingdom of Shadows, Blood of Victory, Dark Voyage, The Foreign Correspondent, and others. His 14th novel, "The Spies of Warsaw," takes place World War II Europe and is drenched in romance, espionage and thrilling plot twists.

Talk of the Stacks is a reading series exploring contemporary literature and culture, presented by the Library Foundation of Hennepin County and US Trust. Readings are held at the Central Library, Pohlad Hall, 300 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis and are free and open the the public. Doors open at 6:15 PM. Programs begin at 7 PM.
