Talk: Haifa in Hi-Fi April 19, 2009

In the years after Israeli statehood, American Jews bought and listened to millions of records about the evolving Israeli experience. In connection with the exhibition Jews on Vinyl, music producer Dave Katznelson and Associate Director of the Israel Center of the Jewish Community Federation, Donny Inbar, will explore how American Jewish identity was influenced by both the music and the cover art of Hebrew-language records. In celebration of Israel Independence Day.
