Birdville Education Foundation
Since 2001, Birdville Education Foundation has awarded $781,000 in grant money to over 300 teachers in 32 BISD campuses. The number of children served by the Foundation every year is well over the 20,000 mark. Some projects awarded have been Smart Boards for math classes, preparation programs to master TAKS objectives, ropes course equipment for a bullying initiative, science lab sets, reading manipulative devices, IPods for deaf students and language programs for Spanish speaking students
