Talib Kweli "The Prisoner of Conscious Tour" May 28, 2012

Hip-Hop luminary, Talib Kweli, kicks off his Prisoner of Conscious tour at Le Poisson Rouge on Memorial Day, May 28th to promote his new album, of the same name. Slated for a Summer 2012 release via Blacksmith/EMI, Prisoner of Conscious features appearances from RZA, Busta Rhymes, Curren$y, Kendrick Lamar, and Melanie Fiona. Talib Kweli will be performing with his stellar live band, and will rock his classic joints like "Get By" and "The Blast", as well as new songs from Prisoner of Conscious, like "Distractions". Joining Talib Kweli as support will be Seattle MC, J. Pinder, and Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew, a hip-hop collective from Sierra Leone.
